: A person making a complaint according to section 5 may be subject to any retaliatory action based on the reason he/she complained to the police or the statement made as a witness in the local court or the rights workers assigned to protect women's human rights provided any assistance to the victim. If he makes a request to the nearest police office, such police office should make any or all of the following arrangements to him:-
(a) Providing security when coming to and from the court in connection with the proceedings of the case,
(b) keep or cause to be kept under police protection for a specified period,
(c) Keep in the center.
